BTO - Buy Tourism Online is a brainchild of
Regione Toscana and
Florence Chamber of Commerce, who have put their faith in the idea of creating an event which is unique both in Italy and in Europe, where
training on matters related to
TRAVEL 2.0is at the heart of the whole event.
BTO - Buy Tourism Online is supported by
Toscana Promozione and, right from the first edition, has been under the patronage of
ENIT.
BTO - Buy Tourism Online
distinguishes itself from traditional tourism fairs first of all through its focus on new technologies applied to
marketing travel and tourism products, but above all because its main characteristic is that of representing an opportunity for
training and spreading awareness of the advantages that new technologies have to offer, in particular to individual entrepreneurs.
BTO - Buy Tourism Online, taking place in Florence inside the
Stazione Leopolda, on
16-17 November will comprise work sessions of various lengths and types:
- KEYNOTE: just one speaker will present the topic assigned him/her, using multimedia support. Keynote sessions will have a moderator who will help the keynote speaker to interact with both the audience inside Stazione Leopolda and the online audience connected through the web.
- ROUNDTABLE: speakers debate their subjects with the help of a moderator and answer questions put by the internet-connected audience and the floor
- INTERVIEW: one person is interviewed by the moderator, by the floor in Stazione Leopolda and by the web audience
